Typisch Nederlands!

I’m ripping this post off from A Touch of Dutch where she also posted this video today (linked same video for Facebook notes cuz the stupid thing doesn’t import them properly).   It’s a video with just music and photos showing typisch Nederlands (Typical Dutch).   It shows what the Netherlands is mostly made up of and gives you non-Dutch / non-Netherlands-dwellers some examples of Dutch music as well!

I tried to watch the video and imagine it through someone else’s eyes to see if there is a WOW factor there.   After almost 9 years everything has become the norm to me, but I think to someone who’s never been here there are probably a few places they’d love to see.

  2. That was a pretty neat (yes I used the word “neat”) video!

  4. That made me miss NL a little bit. I have been to almost all of the places in the video, except Texel. Looking forward to being back over New Year’s.

Something that was certainly typische nederland: all the people in the video were white.

  5. Thanks for posting this! I stole it from you so I hope that is ok?! It made my Sunday blogging much easier and I needed that today!
