A Day in Roosendaal

Roosendaal Shopping

Today I went to visit my friend Penny in Roosendaal.  She showed me around the city center of Roosendaal, including this really beautiful shopping area that serves as a walkway between one side of the city center and the other.

Roosendaal Shopping

It’s been renovated recently and it just looks so nice!  I have no idea how it looked before but it’s so colorful and nice now.   One of the best parts is the huge domed skylight in the middle.

Roosendaal Shopping

We went shopping at her local craft store which was great.  There was a lot more cross stitch stuff there than in any of the shops I’ve been to here in Rotterdam.  I bought a little book of Christmas cross stitch patterns.  I can’t wait to get started on them.  God it’s only August and I’m already looking forward to Christmas!

When we were done with that we went back to her place where I ooh’d and aaah’d over her son Noah.  He’s four months old now and his cuteness factor is increasing steadily.  It’s almost out of control!   Check out this little dude!

Baby Noah

Look at that face!  If you think that’s cute, you’d die when he smiles at you.  He’s won me over for sure, 100%.   I see a thumb sucker in the making!

  1. Great pics - that place is gorgeous. I wish we had such things here in the US as common as they are in Europe.
