Ramona

Ramona is our Christmas turkey.

When I took it out of it’s packaging and had it in the dish it kept wobbling over to the left. Then I looked and realized that one of it’s wings was missing, or half of itat least. When I untied the legs to try to stuff it, the left leg flopped over to the side. It wasn’t being held in place by the wing like on the right side. So the it looked especially spread open.

I said something about ‘stuffing him’ and Xander asked how I knew it was a male. So I thought about it for a second and said that after thinking about it, it must be female with the way it can’t keep it’s legs together. After a lot of laughing and too many corny jokes about the amputee slut turkey, we decided that a turkey with so much character needed a name.

So we named her Ramona… and I’m restraining myself from making crude jokes about how we’re going to eat her. (Ok, so not restraining myself very well)

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
