Oh yeah baby! You didn’t think I’d go through the torture of sitting there while Xander had his tooth pulled and NOT get it to take pics of, did you? I mean I took pics of mine that time, so you should expect no difference now.

This is the happy little patient just moments before the big event. I snapped this quickly while the dentist was off looking at the x-rays. I would have taken photos of the whole disgusting adventure except that the camera in my phone is as loud as hell and I didn’t want to distract anyone.
So, the whole ordeal is over now. The tooth is out and he is on the mend…
The sad news is, while I was there they realized it’d been a year and a half since my last appointment and now I have to go for a check-up next Wednesday.
ARRRRRRRRRRRRGH! Nooooo!!!

Oh my, what a giant tooth!! I am always suprised to see how big the roots are. I’ve been to the dentist 4 times in the past 4 months. I had like…12 cavities and had to have oral surgery to relieve some pressure in my mouth that my wisdom tooth was causing me. (I go to the dentist twice a year, and this goes to show how crap the dentists are in Indonesia). My last appointment to fix that last cavity is on Saturday. I actually enjoy going to the dentist!

I need to go find my teeth I had pulled some years ago. I had 4 teeth pulled at once and took them home with me. If I made it you bet your bootie I am taking it home with me!

Ouch that looked painful to get removed. I am with Xander on the nerves part, the last time I seen a dentist ( 3 years ago this month) I had to have 3 teeth removed, I couldn’t let them do it with just drugs to numb me up, I was too nervous, so the dentist suggested I see his college and he would put me to sleep for the removal. Believe me I jumped at the chance, even though it meant about 2 months waiting and a 5 hour drive. I HATE dentists.
Good for him for going through with it, over there I probably would have too knowing I could not find anything strong to take the pain away.

Ewww! lol. He does look very relaxed for someone at the dentist! I don’t mind going really, but I’m still always a little edgy. They’ll have to give me a general if I ever have teeth pulled, I had oral surgery for my four wisdoms, they just put me to sleep and the teeth are gone when I wake up. I can’t stand all that pulling and tugging, ugh.

I no longer go to the dentist without my trusty prescription of valium. It really takes the edge off.
