Update- I went back to the parlour today to get it changed to a smaller one like they asked me to, and once the owner noticed it, he apologised and said to come back in two weeks and he’ll repierce it for me free. So he took it out, and this was 2 hours ago, it’s nearly already healed.

Ah dude, that sucks!
My new labret is also off center, but I’m not getting it redone. I couldn’t be bothered going through everything again, but I’m sure that if I went back to my piercer about it, he’d redo it free.
About your gum, you really shouldn’t have taken it out! The EXACT same thing happened to me, my gum became sore and was wearing down, but I left the piercing in. My gum healed over, with thicker skin and now I don’t see the difference! It’s honestly fine, you just gotta stick it out.
