I took this book to read with me on holiday and I wasn't disappointed! Having loved the first two books I was keen to dig into this one and was pleasantly surprised to find that this was my favorite book of the trilogy.

Once again I found myself trudging through almost 300 pages of 'setting the scene', waiting to get to the story. This is starting to drive me away from these books. If the story wasn't as great as it is ONCE it gets started, I'd give up on...

I know, when I was editing the photo I was like, he’s so the love of my life right now (Sorry Xander! haha). He’s the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet. Err, except if he sees another dog, and he’s kind of afraid of some kids so he barks at them :P
He doesn’t eat them, he just spins in circles, howls a little and prances very proudly all the way home with them in his mouth. When we get inside he starts biting them apart on the sofa but not eating them. So once he gets a chunk or two out and is satisfied we take it from him hehe

fantastic shot! he is sooooo adorable!! by the way, really enjoyed your piece about camping-autumn… my favorite foto from that is the one of the dogs on the beach, soooo captures the spirit! you’ve got great fur-kids!!
I really love that photo too. I so rarely get to let them run loose (I think this is only the 2nd time in the year since we’ve had Pixel). I loved seeing them having so much fun :)
