It is big and open, not smelly, lol. And you can go on different routes to make the walk through the enclosures. I hate monkeys (don't ask me why!) and there was a part where you walk in a enclosure of these teeny yellow monkeys and they are running lose! It's pretty awesome, they feed them there for the public, as well. And they also had a bird show... Wow, that was amazing. We ran into that by pure luck. They had vultures, eagles, hawks, owls... And they made them fly over people's heads! We have a video and I think it was an owl brushed my boyfriend's hand, it was awesome! I highly recommend it, I would go again for sure! It's big but like Rotterdam itself it lacks charm. It's just big and cold. They are redesigning a few of the enclosures though, so I'm keen to go have a look again! I don't have Twitter, but I also wanted to say that I really loved Gaia Park in Kerkrade, Limburg. I thought it was pretty awesome because you get to do a walk and then also see all the animals. The only other zoo I went to was the Rotterdam zoo, which had a bigger variety of animals, I believe? But it wasn't as pretty, in my opinion. ;) That is really cool!
