A rawhide addict, that is…
Unlike Bailey, who just grabs it and spends hours hiding them in different spots all over the house, Pixel loves rawhide bones. If there is rawhide in the house, it’s hers. What’s hers is hers and what’s Bailey’s is hers. That’s the law in Pixeltown.
It doesn’t matter what size, shape or color, she does not discriminate. They will all be chewed, slurped, licked, and gnawed with equal vigor.
She is also very protective of her bones and will make a point of snarling at Bailey if he gets anywhere near them. Even though he doesn’t chew them, he likes to have them, so he will still try to swipe hers out from under her sometimes. Even when he already has one of his own, which is already hidden of course, he will still attempt to get hers and hide that too. He usually has very little success with this… She may be small but don’t be fooled, she is a bully.
Which is why she only gets them now when Bailey goes off to bed with Xander for a nap. Then she can destroy her rawhide in peace without any chance of him risking his life by expecting her to share.
I really must see if there is a 12 step program out there I can send her to…

Hrmm it’s possible but even before Pixel came he never ate them, just hid them all over. What kind of dog doesn’t eat rawhide??
They really are beautifully crisp photos! Pixel is absolutely adorable and I think it would be hard not to be a rawhide enabler. ;)
Our dog is random in his appreciation. Sometimes he’ll chew, other times he’ll just hide the stuff. Unfortunately, he likes to hide his rawhide in our bed, under the pillows or covers. Yuck!
