Today I was scheduled to work a four hour shift. Easy peasy. Hubby and I got the tram together as he wanted to go look at some geeky gadgets.
When I got to the office I (and about 5-10 others) were told there was a scheduling mistake and that we could all go home and would get paid for three hours.
Four hour shift not worked but getting paid for three.

I went and met hubby in town for lunch and now I’m getting paid to hang out on my sofa. I’m not sure how often I’ll be saying this but … damn, I love my job!
OK, can you please direct the scheduling folks at your job to the medical center where I work? Preferably today…

I know the feeling…Supposedly I’m an ‘office manager’ but actually I just surf the web 5 out of 6 hours a day while I’m at work. I’m NEVER quitting this job! lol
