I’m pretty sure it’s already springing in the Netherlands! It’s cold as a witches tit outside at the moment but the weather this winter has been amazing! I can already see flowers blooming and buds on the trees. It’s making me look forward to sitting out on my balcony in the sun.
February has been a really weird month. I’ve been sick for half of it. Not barfy sick but hormones buggered cuz of weird meds and then the flu sick. I’m giving myself until the weekend is over to feel 100% again and if I don’t I’m going to have myself euthanized. That’s legal in the Netherlands, ya know!
I was watching Extreme Makeover Home Edition last night and they did this really cool farmhouse. They did a lovely country bedroom for the mom, with a quilted bed cover and all sorts of things country-ish, it was beautiful! The only problem was…
I totally preferred the son’s room! They made him a reptile room with massive terrariums and all sorts of different reptiles. His the head and food of his bed were also terrariums with big snakes, which I would pass on but otherwise I really loved it. This is my dream bedroom! Only, all the terrariums would have tortoises in them rather than lizards.
So if anyone out there ever plans to buy me a house, that’s what I want my bedroom to look like… the spare bedroom can look like mom’s room.
Ya I’m not sure I’d want all them tanks in my room and for sure not filled with snakes. I have a hard enough time keeping my 30 gallon fish tank cleanly lol I’m gonna try to clean it all out this weekend and put some live plants in it this time round.

Oh my god, I would LOVE to have a bedroom like that! Cleaning out that many aquariums wouldn’t be much fun though. Yikes.
