St Patty's Day Manicure

Rather than wearing something green today I decided to give myself an extra special manicure for St. Patty’s Day!

I’ve wanted to try the water marble technique and after buying some green and black polish yesterday I figured this was a good time to try it out.

It was a very lengthy process and it took quite a few tries to get it right.  I also went through a lot of nailpolish, I’m glad the polish I had was cheap stuff I got on sale, as I’ll never be doing this with my more expensive stuff.

I think it’s really cute though and I hope it lasts a little while.

I can’t wait to try this with some really bright and funky summer colors.  I wonder how a toenail marbling would workout.  I’m thinking not so great…

Happy St. Patrick’s Day, everyone!

Thanks Alison! Darn thing took a half a bottle of polish though. Won’t be making a habit of this!
