I think next to the lions my favorite part of our visit to Burgers’ Zoo had to be the Gorillas. Their enclosure was a million times better than the gorilla enclosure at Blijdorp, where I was never quite able to get any decent photos. This wasn’t a problem that day in Arnhem!
The babies were adorable and it was really cool to watch the mamas interacting with them. I could have stood there for a year just observing them and taking photos. All in all I think I did pretty good whittling my billion photos down to just this few!
Guerrillas are so cute (but deadly) especially baby guerrillas. I really enjoyed ApenHul
I can’t wait to go back to Apenheul again! I was there years ago but I want to go with my better camera.
They look so… human!
It was amazing how much they behaved like humans too, especially the mamas with the babies.
Doesn’t look like a zoo at all!
