Pixel is the cutest thing on earth! I want one just like her!!! On the other hand, stress is not good at all. Might I suggest trying to get out and exercise more even if you aren’t up to it. It’s great for your body and mind! Plus you have a cute little bundle to show off now too!

Pixel is adorable! I was never big on small dogs until we moved here and since then I’ve always wanted a dachshund (I love the red long-coats and the wire-hairs). With four cats and a little flat it’s a bit out of the question at the moment though!

As for the job stress - listen to your body and take it easy as long as you need to. I was in a job for over a year that was so stressful that I threw-up every morning before work. It got to the point were it just seemed normal. It isn’t. No job is worth sacrificing your health.

Sonya - We got her from a lady in Hilversum. She had 3 girls that she got by accident when the neighbour’s chihuahua got at her dachshund out in the yard haha

I LOVE the look of French Bulldogs but they shed a lot and have a lot of breathing problems.

Zhu - Yeah, it just makes me feel like a huge loser to be going off on sick leave. There are a lot of unhappy people at my work though, so I know it’s not just me. I guess I am just not up to dealing with it like some others are. I’m really not sure what I am going to do, whether I should just leave and do something else (like go back to school to further my Dutch) or go back part time. Argh, confused.

Bluefish - My parents had a german shepard when I was a kid but I don’t remember him. Apparently he was ‘the best dog ever’ hehe

Pixel… that’s the coolest name I have heard in long time for a pet! I love it!

Eh, there’s nothing wrong is slowing down a bit. In fact, it’s a good thing you answer to physical symptoms. A lot of us are just too proud for that and we do what we are expected to do. Till burnout. It’s just stupid.

Oh I just love Pixel!! what a cutie. Where did you get her? I really really want a french bulldog but wow do they charge an arm and leg to buy a pet here.
I hope the time off helps. It’s no fun being stressed out like that. Hang in there and take it easy!
