Kitchen Complete

The other day I was chatting with Melissa about her buggered up fridge and as I was looking for a photo of our tiny little fridge I got to thinking about if I ever showed the completed kitchen photos.

I just did a search on my blog and from what I can tell I stopped updating once the tiles went up!  Maybe I made a post and forgot but I don’t think so, since searched for ‘kitchen’ and no blogs came up with the finished product.

If you didn’t follow the kitchen saga, here are some links to check out:

So Seven is New Kitchen? – The first mention of our kitchen renovation plans.
Kitchen Demo – We begin tearing apart our old kitchen and the new units arrive from the shop!
The Mess – Our house is turned upside down while waiting for our kitchen to be assembled… and I think I’ve made up my mind about the tiles.
WHY Am I Not Surprised?! – A rant when the kitchen company doesn’t show up on the day they are supposed to assemble our kitchen.  I was not happy.
I Have a Kitchen! – Our kitchen units are finally assembled and I have some before and after shots to show off!  We are ready to move on to the tiling!
Groen! – I finally choose a color for the walls of the kitchen and start painting!
More Kitchen Progress – The tiles are going up in the kitchen and I decide I want to build an enclosure around the radiator because it’s ugly.

That’s where I left off!  I guess I got sidetracked and forgot about it… oh well, it’s only been a year!  Besides, it’s not 100% done yet, I still have to sort out something for the windows and fix up some bits of paint, and we need to replace a few tiles on the floor… but for the most part it’s done.

Here are some photos! err… but they were taken around x-mas so please ignore the bits of deco. I’m not a year round Christmas freak, I swear!

I really need to get some better photos taken in the daytime (these were taken at night) but these will do for now.

  3. And a kitchen is essential in Europe — what’s the point in great food if you can’t cook at home?

I used to find home improvements projects boring but I understand now and there are so many things I’d change in the place I live in ;-)
