If you have zero expectations, this film won’t let you down. It wasn’t a movie that made me want to get that hour and a half of my life back, but it didn’t have me howling with laughter either. I love Vince Vaughn, so watching him in action yet again is the one thing that kept me going through to the end.

I am a huge Seth Rogen fan so I had to see this one, especially with his weight loss! I have to admit, I found Jay Chou stole the show in this one. Even with that, the film lost my interest part way through when I started editing photos and doing other things. I was half watching it but after a while it just felt silly and it just didn’t do it for me. Bummer.

If anyone ever questioned Al Pacino’s acting abilities, they need to check out this film. He plays Jack Kevorkian in a way that I don’t think anyone else could have. I found this story fascinating and everyone played their parts to perfection. It’s not a feel good film, of course, but if you are into autobiographical films, you’ll love this one.

Oh dear me… I was desperate for something to watch so I got this one out. The story was your typical riches to rags chick flick story. The acting was… passable but I’d never try to force anyone to sit through it.
The only thing I really enjoyed about this film was seeing Wilmer Valderrama acting again!

I don’t know how this movie only got a 5.6 on IMDB! I heard some bad things about it but I had to see for myself and I’m SO glad I did!
At first I had a hard time getting behind Gwyneth Paltrow as a singer but after a few minutes I forgot all about that. The story was so touching and she really put a lot of passion and vulnerability into her character. Her supporting cast were really great too. Garrett Hedlund was so sweet and sexy as Beau and it was fun to watch Leighton Meester play a more innocent role after seeing her as Blair Waldorf for so long.
I LOVED this movie. It just goes to show you that IMDB scores don’t mean everything.

Christian Bale played an amazing role in this film. They all did really. It’s an interesting story between the love between two brothers and how in the end they are there for each other through everything. I think this movie got so much hype that I went into it expecting something totally mind blowing. That wasn’t the experience I had.
It was a good movie with an interesting story, the actors played their role phenomenally, but when the movie ended I thought there was something missing. It seemed short, like there needed to be more to it.
Enjoyable but not something that made me run out and tell all my friends.

Painful, absolutely painful! In a good way though. Matt Damon is so out of his usual type of roll in this one and he made me cringe more than once. I spent the whole time almost twitching with discomfort watching his character spin his webs, which I’m sure was exactly the response they were hoping for. It was so well done.

I thought this movie was quite touching but funny at the same time. Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway really went no holds barred in this one, not being afraid to show some skin, or a lot on Anne’s part. It wasn’t the braindead romantic comedy I had expected, there was some real depth to it. I really enjoyed it.

Another trip back to the 80′s. I enjoyed this film just as much in 2010 as I did when I first saw it in 1986. It didn’t simplify over the years as a lot of other movies did and it was just as touching as it always was. Corey Haim played such an amazing role in this film. I hope everyone remembers him for this rather than other things he may have done in his life. I loved that there were so many familiar faces that I may not have known back in the day. Jeremy Piven, for example… I don’t think I knew who he was in 1986 but I certainly do now. It was fun to see him in one of his earlier films.
So almost 25 years has not made this movie any less great than it always was. A keeper for sure.

This was one of my favorite movies as a child. I knew every word, used to try to dance along and loved the story passionately. Watching it now after 25 years, I felt like I was visiting with old friends. I must admit though, it’s a glaring example of how films have changed over the years. The conflict was rather weak and the movie appeared to be quite short. Also, in the day of So You Think You Can Dance, it’s hard not to be underwhelmed with the dancing of the 80′s. You just have to remember how great it was in its day. I will still give it a high rating just because of the love I had for it for so many years.

I enjoyed this movie, but I went in with no expectations. I did find some parts (especially those involving Samantha) to be quite over the top, but she always HAS been over the top and I assume she’ll just get worse as she gets older. It was funny, although a bit corny in parts, and I laughed a lot.
If you go into it without expecting it to be everything the show was to you over the years, you will enjoy it. Just don’t take it too seriously.

I’m not sure what to say about this other than that it’s your typical Disney movie. Yes there’s been a lot of talk about the first black princess, but beyond that it’s nothing out of the ordinary. It was cute, it was funny at points, it was everything you expect from a Disney story. I enjoyed myself while I was watching it, but I found myself missing the day of the older Disney films like the Little Mermaid, The Lion King and Beauty and the Beast. The kind of films that you just love with a passion and can sing all the words to even 10-20 years later. Perhaps it was because I was younger and fell more in love with them at the time, but I think I’d still enjoy The Little Mermaid more than this one. I did enjoy myself watching it but I don’t even remember any of the songs now, and I don’t feel a burning desire to watch it again. It wasn’t bad at all and I’m glad I went but as far as Disney films go, there are much better out there.

This movie got a lot of hype and I think a lot of people felt it didn’t live up to it. After reading some reviews I thought it wasn’t worth watching, but my friend and I decided to check it out during a scary movie night. I think that for what appears to be quite a low budget film, it does a fantastic job of building up tension and getting you to freak yourself out. There were points where I was almost twitching because I was so nervous, expecting something to move or jump out suddenly. So in that respect I think the film reached it’s goals. That said, there were a lot of parts that I found incredibly boring. I hated the ‘Blair Witch” hand held camera style, even though I understand why it was necessary. We ended it up having to turn it off part way through because my friend was suffering from motion sickness due to the constant panning of the camera. I was relieved to turn it off for two reasons. Firstly, because I was freaking myself out, which was funny because not a lot actually HAPPENED in the film. Secondly, because while I was feeling jumpy, I was also quite bored and wasn’t enjoying the film. I looked up the ending online to find out what happened and groaned. Another thing that bothered me, and I know this is probably intended, but I couldn’t stand Mikah. I realize he is meant to be annoying, but they may have gone a bit too far with it.
Not something I’d ever watch again, nor would I recommend it to friends.

Turned it off after approximately 3 minutes, or whenever “Amy Winehouse” arrived. Not a fan of spoof type movies but some I can handle, this was not one of them. My husband usually enjoys them though, and he disliked it as much as I did.

I went to see this movie with a friend, hoping for something light hearted and fun after seeing Precious, Brothers and Where the Wild Things are. It was exactly what the doctor ordered! SJP and HG have great chemistry and the story was cute and funny.
It’s disappointing that this film has only a 3.2 on IMDB but I suspect it’s from the cynical SJP / HG haters or people who foolishly expected a romantic comedy to be more than exactly that, a romantic comedy.
I enjoyed it a lot, so did my friend. I’ll definitely watch it again!

How can I describe this movie? Horrible? Boring? Dull? Confusing? … did I say boring? Perhaps there is more enjoyment to be had if you read the book as a child, but I didn’t. I hated it. I more than hated it. I hated it so bad I’m thinking of devoting my life to inventing a time machine so I can go back in time and tell my 2 weeks ago self not to see it. I am not overly critical of movies, and I will accept anything that keeps me even mildly entertained. I wanted this movie to be over 10 minutes after it started, and that feeling never went away.

If you are easily entertained like I am, you will enjoy this movie. I went in without too many expectations, expecting a cute and funny film that didn’t delivery much other than an hour and a half of fun. John Travolta and Robin Williams work well together and Seth Green made a great sidekick. There were a few moments that really made me laugh, and one that made me squeal with laughter until I cried. That was good enough for me.

I went into this movie thinking it was going to be something great. The reviews lead me to believe I was about to see a powerful and moving film. I can agree that it was powerful but it was slow, it dragged on in places and was far too long. The heavy hitting content doesn’t let up and in the end I was left with a depressed feeling when I left. I can’t say I think the movie sucks, but I wouldn’t call it good either. I’m mostly confused about how I feel about it. I’m glad I saw it for myself but I won’t watch it again.

This was a good movie but the preview was a bit misleading. It didn’t reach the highs and lows I was expecting but it was hard hitting movie that really makes you think. I think each of the parts were casted perfectly and would probably watch it again.

Oh this movie was so ridiculous. In a good way I mean!! I left the theater going ‘love it love it love it!!!”. Ok, I agree with many of the haters who claim that the story has been done before. It HAS been done before… Fern Gully? The thing is though, I DO NOT CARE. Yes the storyline is familiar, but it’s different characters, different people playing them and UNGODLY visuals.
This is going in my top 5 favorite movies of all time. It will be tough to beat

On it’s own this is a great movie. It’s funny, romantic and I LOVE Hilary Swank. Having read the book though, some of the differences irritated me. Parts that I found to be the most touching parts of the book were not in the movie at all. If you watch the movie and like it, definitely read the book, it’s even better!

This movie is good as long as you don’t take it too seriously. I think a LOT of women would get really irritated by the way it portrays women, but if you look past that and just try to see it as a few hours of light entertainment, it’s ok. It’s not a MUST SEE though, by any means.

It was SO weird seeing Robert Di Nero and Al Pacino in the same movie. It was quite good but it won’t stick in my memory as one of their great ones. Any other actors probably could have played these roles and it almost didn’t seem good enough for them. It’s worth seeing though, as long as you don’t have big expectations to match the names.

The concept of this movie was really interesting, but it was a bit over the top for me. I thought Gerard Butler was going to be the highlight of this film, but I think Michael C. Hall played the best part in the film, he was brilliant!

Good movie. Nicholas cage was great, like always, and the story kept me interested the whole time. Not something to go down in the favorites but I didn’t get bored.

Such an odd but amazing story. I wish I had read the book now, and still might. Brad Pitt was fantastic in this film. I’ll definitely watch it again.

This was a WICKED movie! I loved it and it was a big hit with my husband too. Lots of action and Liam Neeson is seriously kickass in this one. Loved it!

Just -ok-. I loved the books the movie was based on and don’t feel the movie did them justice. I think it would have been done much better had it been kept British.

Loved all the connections between the characters and how it all ended up. This was a really cute movie with a couple of interesting story lines. Not one to go down in the books but worth watching on a girl’s night or something.

One of the best romantic comedies I’ve ever seen. Those Germans sure know hot to make a movie. If you haven’t seen it, find a way to get your hands on it. It’s FANTASTIC!

Enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would. It wasn’t as scary as I imagined it would be but the storyline went in directions I didn’t see coming. Pretty good.

Awesome movie! Was surprised that Wolverine’s brother almost outshines him! Nothing I can complain about, other than maybe wishing there was a bit more Gambit! :)

What a tear jerker! Even though I had read the book and knew what was going to happen, I still sobbed like nobodies business. Great movie!

I hate to give this any less than 10 stars because it’s based on my favorite novels EVER! I have to though, because I really believe they could have done better. It’s a good movie but not nearly as good as it could have been, given the potential from such a great book.

It was ok. Pretty much what you’d expect from another Hellboy movie. I wouldn’t say it sucked but I wouldn’t say rush out and see it either. If you have the opportunity and nothing else to do, go for it.

This movie was funny but it was just on the borderline of stupid funny like Naked Gun and other spoofy movies I hate. I did like it though, it was ok for an evening with a few laughs.

This kept me entertained for part of the afternoon while I worked on some crafts. It was pretty good, but I wouldn’t have enjoyed it quite as much if Jeffrey Dean Morgan wasn’t in it, because I really dig him.
