The Incredible Hulk (2008)
5/5
Great movie, and not just because I love Edward Norton. It was sooo much better than the Hulk movie done back in 2003. It was gritty and exciting. I loved it!!

Your typical funny and easy to watch chick flick. I liked it, didn't love it, but liked it.

This was a good movie but not something you want to watch if you are looking for excitement. It was slow, and real... and mildly depressing.

It was sort of odd to see this movie as a film but I LOVED IT!! I dunno if I was just emotional that day or if it was just so great to see all the beloved characters again but I spent almost the whole movie trying not to cry, and mostly failing! It was like catching up with old friends... *sigh*

The Other Boleyn Girl (2008)
4/5
I hope it was historically accurate because it's the only thing I've ever really learned about the Boleyn girls. I really liked it quite a lot. I'd buy it.

This movie isn't one I'd say I loved but it was cute. I love Steve Carell, which is why I watched it. He was his usual brilliant self.

Not very realistic but a decent movie if you have some time to waste. I hated the ending, not because of the ending but just that it didn't give me enough.

Bordertown (2006)

Interesting but someone OTHER than Jennifer Lopez would have made for a better movie. I just can't take her seriously as an actress.

I'm so not feeling this movie. I read half of the book and was bored to death and thought I'd watch the movie. I watched the entire movie and was left bored and disappointed too.

A really great documentary about the kindertransport. The children who were sent from Europe to the UK before the second world war. Really interesting if you are into the history of the Holocaust.

Ok, I loved this movie. Maybe it just caught me in the right mood but I laughed out loud, cried in spots and pretty much loved the shit out of it. It's going on my list of favorite chick flicks.

I find it hard to really ever take Jennifer Lopez seriously as an actress. I think this movie was ok but would have been better with someone else playing her role.

I got this one by the title 'The Perfect Catch'. I had never heard of it but saw it on a list somewhere and checked it out. It was ok, not one of my favorites but it was good for curling up and watching one afternoon.

Evelyn (2002)
4.5/5
On IMDB it says that this is 'The story of a father's love that changed a nation'... and that's exactly what it is. The true story of an unemployed man who's wife left him with three children who end up being taken away from him. His fight to get them back changed the future for many. Great film.

Reign Over Me (2007)

What an amazing change for these two comedians. I never knew Adam Sandler had such depth and range of emotions in his acting and had always seen him as one dimensional. He proved me wrong in this one.

Beowulf (2007)
4/5
The graphics in this movie were amazing and I sometimes forgot that it wasn't real. It was only when I saw something like a bowl or a horse that I remembered. The people in the movie looked amazing and were incredibly detailed. I found the story a bit odd in places but since it's like an epic tale it makes sense. This movie leaves you with the feeling that it's not too long before actual actors become obsolete. Sucks to be them!

Heard a lot of mixed reactions to this movie. I went with my husband and parents. Hubby and I liked it, my parents hated it. It -is- long but it's a true story which makes it more interesting than if it had been fictional. I really liked it.
