France Here We Come!

Well we leave tomorrow morning and almost everything is ready.  Our clothes are packed, the animal care has all been sorted out (thanks to our wonderful neighbours who petsit for us when we are away) and we’ve stocked up on corny Top songs of the 60’s type roadtrip cd’s.

We hope to get to somewhere around Lyon tomorrow and will arrive in Pezenas sometime the day after.   I had a look at the weather forecast and it’s between 18-24 this week.  Perfect weather for me because if it was any hotter I’d be all sweaty and unhappy. haha  Fat people don’t do well above 25 degrees, you know, unless they were born in it… which I wasn’t obviously, being Canadian and all.  I’m like a fat little penguin, I love the sun but like to be able to cool off if I need to.

It will still be warm enough for me to put on my swimsuit and waddle into the Mediterranean though.  I may even come back with a tan!!

Today we went shopping to pick up a few things we needed.   After getting my hair butchered by that little Asian midget (did I ever mention that?) I had to get some hair bands to hold back the fucked up bangs (or fringe if you are British).  They are driving me nuts.

While I was trying them on I was looking at myself in the mirror and searching through the different types of bands, when my husband leans in and says ‘uh hon?  You might want to wash your neck…’   I guess he thought I was a total dirtbag or something but I had just dyed my hair and I guess I made a bit of a mess in the back and didn’t get it all off.

He conveniently forgot the part where I had the dye on my head and asked him if I splurged it all over my neck and he said no.

I hope it doesn’t rain while we are out in France, my hair will run onto my clothes.  I hate that.

Ok now I’m just babbling.   I’ll be back, from France, WITH photos!!
