Out With the Old…

ByeBye Asshole! This is a photo I took through the blinds of my livingroom, like a chicken.  Like a sneaky, nosy neighbour.  I am not ashamed.  You wouldn’t want this psychopath seeing you looking either!

Tomorrow marks the two week mark for our asshole neighbour to either pay up all the rent he’s not paid for the last year or move out.   Judging by his van being backed up to the front of the building, we can only guess that he’s MOVING!!  This is the outcome everyone in the building has been hoping for.  No more him, no more of his crackhead friends… peace, at last.

He’s made three trips so far with a van full of his stuff so hopefully we will be rid of him soon.  It’s a shame the same can’t be said for his garbage, which is now piled up higher than ever in our basement.  Including an old TV, wood, old food, dirty carpet and even insulation materials!  Not only has he not removed the trash everyone has been complaining about, he’s added to it! Jerk.

If this was a movie, he’d pull out with his last load of crap and all the lights would come on in the building, there would be screaming and cheers as you see everyone pouring out into the street to celebrate his departure.

Instead Xander and I will look at the FOR SALE sign on the window, go ‘… about time.’, discuss the things we didn’t like about him for two minutes and then go on with our day.

I really wish I lived in a movie.

  1. I’ve had neghbours like that and they are soooo great to get rid of. I had one with a cat that would climb up on my window screens to attack my cats. The screens were new and the cat ruined them all. Freak! The whole neighbourhood drove them out eventually. Congratulations on your loss.

  2. I’ve always said that I want to live in a movie, especially a John Cusack movie.

I feel your pain, I know about those neighbors that cause craziness.

  3. You poor thing! I hate neighbors like that – and believe me I’ve had my fair share!! Good riddance is what I say to him!!

Oh, and in response to your comment, our children really do sit there well and eat their lunch like proper children – I swear it! Only once can I remember that one of them ran around the table like a fool, and her mother put an end to that real quick :)
